A studio to carry the voice of young people on the front line of economic, political and climate crises 📣 💪

Le Studio

Living poorly is not having a poor life.
‍Nearly
half the world's population earns less than $5.5 a day. Among them, young adults, who live on the front line of political, economic and climatic crises and have become experts in emergencies and resilience, are forgotten. Yet their voices are essential to building a desirable future.

That's why we decided to give them a voice, from the four corners of the globe (Paris, Jakarta, Delhi, Beirut) to the United Nations in New York. Through the docu-drama I AM THE FUTUREthey question their role in the professional world, social justice, climate change, the place of women, the choices open to them...

The project is supported by producer Mitiki, distributor Wayna Pitch and the Life Project 4 Youth Alliance.

More than a film, our studio produces content to break down preconceived ideas about young people and poverty, with :

- A podcast to discuss social and environmental justice with those directly concerned

- Content on social networks to take a fresh look at the political, economic and climate crises through the eyes of the young adults we meet.

- A series of events (screenings, roundtables) in schools, local authorities, associations and businesses to encourage the inclusion of young people.

Romain Mailliu - Project Manager

Torn between business consulting and field NGOs, he finally left his life as a (very) dynamic London executive to find the young adults he had met a few years ago with the LP4Y movement. To learn more about his discovery of the slums of Indonesia, check out the magazine he founded: Prends Ta Dose

Rachel Cisinski - Director

Coordinator of various projects at LP4Y, she spent more than two years traveling between India, the Philippines, Lebanon and Egypt. The slums, the social divides, the political, economic and climatic crises, are what speak to her. Passionate about cinema and philosophy, send her a message if you want to discuss the neoplatonic current developed by Plotinus!

Gwenvael Bigi - Director of photography

After studying at INSAS, a film school oriented towards the cinema of the real, Gwen worked on big sets, notably with the chief operator John Mathieson (Gladiator). He quickly felt the need to participate in the creation of a new visions around the issues of social justice and climate sustainability. His favorite subject: how to reduce one's carbon footprint in the film world.

Mathilde d'Alançon - Communication

A lover of adventure, she started traveling through books as part of her studies, then to Zimbabwe as an international volunteer. She also co-founded an association that sends letters to the elderly, so if you have 5 minutes, go write one here!

Virgile Loiseau - Sound engineer

Artist and author of sound documentaries, Virgile began his career with a degree in photography, followed by a degree in philosophy in Brussels. An avid cyclist, his sporting exploits include climbing Mont Ventoux three times in a single day. For him, sound is a field of study as much as a means of expression, but above all a way of cultivating and questioning the links we have with the world. Discover his latest project: parole au vol.
